The December 1st Fairy is Nutmeg, a former elf. Santa used his magic to turn her into a fairy so that she could deliver Christmas themed gifts throughout December. He’s quite busy in the month of December and could not do it without her help.

The December 1st Fairy runs Santa’s workshop that makes Christmas themed gifts of all kinds - pjs, jewelry, crafts, advent calendars, music, decorations and more. Instead of receiving these types of gifts on Christmas - where they would only get used for just a day or two - The December 1st Fairy brings them throughout the month of December. This way, family and friends can create memories and enjoy the merriment of Christmas all month long.

Any day in December! It does not have to be on December 1st. The goal is to create memories and be festive the entire month, not just Christmas Day.

It’s different for everyone. She might leave one or several gifts just on December 1st. She may bring one or two a couple times during the month. She may bring more mid month. Whatever a family needs to keep their month festive and merry.

In tissue paper, typically red, green and/or white, with no tags. This is not formal gift giving.  Memories are for the whole family, not just one person.

Anywhere! No special place (unless you decide there is one). Can be the same place or different every year or every time a gift is left.
